The same applies to breast milk, the natural K2 content of which is also supplied by the body from K1, and is not capable of the same from the K2 formula (MK-7) permitted in the EU. The MK-7 formula of K2 is nonetheless useful for the mother, only the foetus does not benefit from it, as the fetus and the infant requires K1 and K2 MK-4.
